Payment Options

We understand the every company has its own way of doing business. This is never more evident than in how you choose to pay for our services. We are committed to doing business with you on the most favorable terms. That is why we offer several options for payment.

When ordering, you can choose any of the following:

·        COD – Let us know that we can pick up payment when we arrive for the appraisal appointment.  Payment can be made in cash, money order, or cashier's check from your local bank.

·         Net 30 – Frequent customers can arrange for payment terms by contacting our billing department.

                                    ·         Credit Card – A convenient payment option, especially when third- parties, such as home owners are involved.

Occasionally we receive orders for appraisal reports where payment is required in advance. Whether the report is for a home owner, or just from a client with whom we’ve not done business before, these instances have been known to cause friction and delays in the past.

No longer. Our company now accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card payments for any transaction. You can use this option to pay for single appraisals, multiple orders or any of our other services. 

How does it work?

When you place an order on our site, indicate in your comments that credit card payment information will be provided.  Then, access our Credit Card Order Information Form.  Complete this form and fax it to our office at 877-834-1322.  You can also call us at 317-861-9176 during normal business hours and provide the needed information over the phone.  If you are planning on calling in your credit card information, we highly recommend reviewing the form prior to calling.  We will then process your payment over a secure internet connection.  The order process confirms you’ve provided a valid credit card number, and your card won’t be charged until after we’ve accepted the order.

Be advised that any appraisal paid via credit card is subject to $25.00 surcharge.  This surcharge is NOT included on any fee schedule.  Please anticipate this additional charge before choosing the credit card payment option.

Because of the manner in which credit card payments are processed, the charged amount will not show as received by Cutler Appraisal Services for 1-3 days.  Company policy does not permit the appraisal to take place until the funds are shown as received.  We will, however, schedule the appraisal appointment while waiting for the funds processing.  Cutler Appraisal Services reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any appraisal in the event of nonpayment.

Is it safe?

Yes! Our credit card processors use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This means that every sensitive communication between our computers and the processing company's web server is scrambled. So if any payment data gets illegally intercepted, it’s completely unreadable! You can be sure that paying electronically is just as safe as doing business anywhere else on the Internet!

Naturally, some clients just prefer not to enter their credit card information online.  For this reason, we are happy to take this information over the phone.
